Abstract : Effective planning and scheduling are critical for the successful execution of large-scale industrial projects such as vessel construction. This study presents an integrated scheduling framework for a vessel construction project consisting of 40 interdependent activities. A unified MATLAB model was developed by combining the Critical Path Method (CPM), Genetic Algorithm (GA), and Simulated Annealing (SA) to analyze the project schedule under probabilistic and metaheuristic environments. In addition, project uncertainty was evaluated separately using PERT analysis integrated with Monte Carlo Simulation in Microsoft Excel, where 1000 simulation iterations were performed to assess probabilistic completion times. The integrated approach enables comparison between deterministic, metaheuristic, and probabilistic scheduling techniques, providing comprehensive decision support for complex industrial projects such as vessel construction.
