Paper Title
Correlative Analysis of Various MPPT Algorithms in Wind Energy Conversion Systems
Abstract
The Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms used in wind turbine systems are compared and
examined in this review paper. The maximum power point of the system is tracked by MPPT algorithms, which are essential
for increasing the energy efficiency of wind turbine systems. This paper gives a comparative study of numerous MPPT
algorithms used in wind turbine systems, including the Perturb and Observe (P&O) algorithm, Incremental Conductance (IC)
algorithm, Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) algorithm, Model Predictive Control (MPC) algorithm, and Particle Swarm
Optimization (PSO) algorithm. The paper compares the performance of these algorithms based on their efficiency, stability,
robustness, complexity, and implementation requirements.
Keywords - Particle swarm optimization (PSO), Tip Speed Ratio (TSR), power co-efficient function Cp (λ, β).
