Nonlinear Control of IPMSM Drive using Multilevel Inverter and Third Harmonic Injection
Abstract
This paper presents exhibition of multilevel inverter and Third Harmonic Injection THI nonlinear control of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous motor IPMSM drive. Due to saturation of magnets and fixed machine parameters will lead to malfunctioning of the controller. A sinusoidal THI method is incorporated to enhance the DC bus exertion which increases the working speed range. The flux control grants expanded speed run using the alignment torque and flux weakening. The stability laws state factors are classified with the Lyapunov and asymptotic stability of the drive is guaranteed through use of the Barbalats lemma. With rapid convergence in the command speed, with decreased in speed motions over evaluated speed and obvious decrease phase currents with THI accomplished through the proposed drive Keywords - Harmonic Injection, IPMSM Drive, Magnet, Asymptotic Stability
