<strong>Abstract</strong><br>
In this paper an automated visual inspection system for the size measurement of tyre thread, widely applicable to
industrial online and real time product inspection is introduced.The systems developed in vision inspection and measurement
systems are by traditional methods for inspection are based on stochastic sample carried out by human inspectors placed at
the final stage of the product line or by computers. The project aims at building the system using single board computer
Raspberry-pi so as to increase the ease, efficiency and reduce space.
