Paper Title
Industrial Gas Leakage Monitoring Using Solar Powered Autonomous Vehicle
Abstract
Safety and security in industrial environments are paramount concerns, necessitating robust monitoring and
detection systems to mitigate risks effectively. This project presents the development of an integrated solution for industrial
gas leakage detection with intruder detection capabilities. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as the ESP32-CAM
module for live video streaming and Arduino microcontrollers for sensor data acquisition, the system aims to provide realtime
surveillance, early detection of hazards, and remote intervention capabilities. By integrating a range of sensors
including air quality and methane detectors, GPS modules, and an IR proximity sensor, the system offers comprehensive
monitoring of environmental conditions and unauthorized intrusions. The collected data is transmitted to a web interface,
allowing users to remotely monitor the industrial premises, receive alerts, and control a robotic car for swift intervention.
Through a structured methodology encompassing system design, hardware integration, software development, testing, and
evaluation, the project aims to enhance safety and security standards in industrial settings, ultimately minimizing risks and
ensuring the well-being of personnel and assets.
