ASIR Area Blackout Restoration Plan of Saudi Arabia

Abstract
This paper presents procedure to restore power. It will assist the System Operators in the Control Center to return the system to normal operation. There are three restoration options for Asir Area: Procedure 1 is from Black start units or units at FSNL at Asir CPS (ACPS)  P rocedure 2 uses start up power from Jizan, ,Bisha or Najran. 􀀀 Procedure 3 uses start up power from 380 kV network.
