Paper Title
Actuator Fault Tolerance Evaluation and Model-Based Fault Detection

Abstract
The effectiveness of diagnosis for technical processes is highly improved when the diagnostic system is able to conclude in parallel to the dynamic industrial processes. The degree of consistency between the behavior of a mathematical model and the actual system is one of the main concerns in developing models for real time diagnostic systems. For this reason the actual components should be tested for the fault tolerance before they are included in the final diagnostic system. This paper presents the fault tolerance evaluation process of an actuator in order to improve the efficiency of diagnostic systems based on the deviation between the behavior of dynamical model and actual system.
