Paper Title
Design of Solar System by Implementing ALO Optimized Fractional Order PID based MPPT controller

Abstract
In this paper, fractional order PID (FOPID) based maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control scheme is validated over PID and P & O based MPPT controller of an isolated solar system. The basic objective of proposed system is to enhance the output of the solar system by regulating the duty cycle of the DC-DC boost converter to extract maximum power. This objective is achieved by implementing some leading MPPT controllers like (PID and FOPID based MPPT controller). The gain parameters of controller are hugely influenced the performance of the system. Ant-lion Optimizer (ALO) techniques is adopted for the purpose to hunt convenient pair of gain parameters of the controller to enhance the output power, voltage and current of the system. P & O and PID based MPPT controller are implemented to justify the supremacy of the FOPID based MPPT controller. ALO optimized FOPID based MPPT technique is validated over P & O and PID based MPPT controller to enhance the output power, voltage and current of the solar system by associating the overshoot, settling time, delay time, oscillation and maximum values of voltage, current & power. Index Terms - Photo Voltaic system (PV), Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), Perturb and Observe (P & O), Proportional-Integral- Derivative (PID) controller, Fractional Order PID (FOPID), and Ant Lion Optimizer(ALO).
