Application of Video Watermarking Technique to Enhance Content Security
Abstract
In this paper, we have proposed an effective, robust and imperceptible video watermarking technique. We have
implemented SVD (Single Value Decomposition), DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform) and DCT (Discrete Cosine
Transform) watermarking schemes. We calculated the evaluating parameters for the three schemes after applying various
attacks and observed the results. The effectiveness of these algorithms was improved by applying a cascade of two
algorithms; the discrete wavelets transform (DWT) and the single value decomposition (SVD) and further a cascade of all
the three algorithms. After applying this hybrid method the experimental results showed that the parameters were improved
and embedded watermark is robust and imperceptible. The watermark was successfully extracted from the video after
various attacks in each technique.
